This 50-year-old Tabriz centers an intricate navy star medallion on a rich red field — beige, olive-green, and golden threads detailing the medallion, symmetric botanical patterns spreading through the red around it. A navy Herati border with ivory guard bands frames the whole piece.

Tabriz was one of Persia’s great weaving cities, and the fine, even knotting shows it — precise enough for a study, classic enough for a dining table. At 6’2″ x 4’4″, it’s a versatile size for intimate spaces.
