This 55-year-old Shahrbaft Hamadan builds its design around a cream-and-powder-blue medallion on rich crimson — floral motifs and arabesques at the center, celestial-blue spandrels in the corners, all ringed by a cream border of delicate florals and vines.

Hamadan rugs were knotted for daily life, and this one balances pattern with warmth — composed without being stiff. At 6’3″ x 4’4″, it fits a reading nook, a sitting area, or a dining room.
