Hand-knotted Vintage Saveh Rug, 6’1″x3’6″, Code:1016

A vintage Saveh from the rural Sava region of central Iran – geometric village work in rich red, brown, and black, close-knit and honest. Saveh rugs were never about ornament; they are about pattern and color doing the talking.

The stepped, angular motifs run across the full surface in that tight rural geometry. At 6’1″ x 3’6″, it works beside a bed, in front of a fireplace, or anywhere you want a rug with some backbone.

Hand-knotted in 100% natural fine wool on a cotton foundation. One of a kind.
