Hand Knotted Malayer Rug, 6′ 8″x4′, Code: 2353

This mid-century Malayer is built around geometry – a deep midnight-blue medallion rising through the center of a vibrant red field, with stepped patterns, angular designs, and palmettes arranged in strict symmetry. Touches of ivory and pale blue lift the palette.

The navy border is worked with small floral rosettes, keeping the frame in the same quiet register as the medallion. At 6’8″ x 4′, it suits a sitting area, a study, or as a centered accent under a small dining set.

Hand-knotted in 100% natural fine wool on a cotton foundation. One of a kind.
