This 45-year-old Lori rug is built around three geometric medallions stacked down the center of a rich crimson field — an octagonal one in the middle flanked by two diamond shapes. The palette is deep reds and navy blues, softened by pink and coral accents that keep it from feeling heavy.

Lori weavers work in bold, straightforward geometry, and this piece has aged into it beautifully — the crimson has settled into a patina you can’t rush. At 7’8″ x 4’8″, it holds a seating area on its own or warms up a dining space; it hangs well on a wall too.
