Hand-knotted Large Lilian Rug, 10’9″x7’5″, Code:1208

Lilihan or Lylyan rugs are tribal Persian carpets created by nomadic Kurdish people in the western Iranian province of Markad. These people are Kurd descendants, and their weaving patterns and motifs are very similar to those of the Kurds. The carpets are frequently distinguished by the vibrant and lively colours that they integrate. Traditional flower patterns are common in Lilihan carpets, although geometric patterns are also prevalent. The Lilihan is a wonderfully stunning rug that would look great in any environment.
