Hand Knotted Taleqan Rug, 4′ 1″x3′ 11″, Code: 2299

A roughly 60-year-old Taleqan rug with a geometric diamond lattice across a deep navy field — diagonal lines forming compartments, each holding a crimson hexagonal medallion with small geometric details. Sage green serrated leaves and cream angular shapes keep the rhythm moving.

The cream border runs a flowing vine pattern that softens the geometry. Nearly square at 3’11” x 4’1″, it’s an unusual format: good under a coffee table, as a study accent, or hung on a wall where the lattice can be read as a whole.

Hand-knotted in 100% natural wool on a cotton foundation. One of a kind.
