A 40-year-old Shiraz runner with a prayer-arch design – an ivory mihrab niche set into a deep red field, holding a medallion and scattered floral and geometric motifs. The age sits well on it; the colors are warm without being loud.

The border stands out for its vivid orange ground worked with boteh and floral motifs, edged by narrow guard stripes. At 6’6″ x 3’1″, it is made for hallways and entryways, or as an accent beside a bed.

Hand-knotted in 100% natural fine wool on a cotton foundation. One of a kind.
