This Tabriz rug has spent about half a century mellowing into soft peachy beiges and creams, with touches of sage green — the kind of faded, washed-out palette that only decades of real use can produce. The original red ground is still there, just quieter now.

An allover pattern of intertwining floral and vine motifs covers the field, framed by a cream border with floral medallions. At 6’4″ x 9’10”, it’s a full-size area rug for a living room or dining room that wants instant history.
