This 40-year-old Tajabad runner stretches 16’11” of repeating medallions down a rich vermillion field — palmettes, rosettes, and vine scrolls, each placed by hand. A deep navy border frames the design, with touches of sage green and ivory keeping the reds balanced.

Runners this long and this well-preserved are hard to find — most lived hard lives in hallways. This one aged beautifully, which says a lot about how it was made: 100% natural wool, hand-knotted on cotton, built for generations of footsteps.
