Product Details
Another antique Shiraz, over 50 years old, built around a geometric tribal medallion with the region’s signature nightingale birds — angular little shapes that mark a rug as Shiraz — and Cyrus’ white horse. The palette is vivid in the way old tribal rugs are: strong colors that have aged into harmony.
The motifs draw from Qashqai, Khamseh, Afshar, and Luri traditions, knotted with the coarser tribal knot that gives these rugs their hand-feel. At 6’7″ x 3’10”, it’s a generous runner for a hallway, an entryway, or along a bed.
Hand-knotted in 100% natural wool. One of a kind.
