Goravan carpets or rugs, also known as Gharavan carpets or rugs, are traditional rural rugs made in the Goravan region in the northeastern Azerbaijan province in northwest Iran. These carpets are made with a combination of fine wool and goat hair, and feature a thick, dense pile. The most common patterns in Goravan carpets are geometric patterns and designs, with blue, red, and beige colors being the most popular.
The Pile material is 100% natural fine wool and the foundation is made of natural cotton.
