Hand-knotted Vintage Runner, 8’x3’8″, Code:1003

This 60-year-old runner was tied by village weavers in Moshk Abad, in Iran’s Markazi province — an all-over pattern on a vintage red background, with the velvety softness old Meshkabad pieces are known for.

Village runners like this were made small and sturdy for daily use, and the long pile still feels generous underfoot. At 8′ x 3’8″, it runs down a hallway, beside a bed, or along a kitchen aisle.
