A vintage Najafabad in the Kashan style the region is known for – a single central medallion surrounded by dense curvilinear florals: arabesques, flower stems, palmettes, and rosettes, worked with Persian knots that keep the whole design balanced and symmetrical.
The palette runs to vibrant reds and blues with muted beige, pale blue, sage, and olive green set in for contrast. At 5’5″ x 3’3″, it is a mid-sized piece that works in a bedroom, a study, or an entryway – equally at home with modern or antique furniture.
Hand-knotted in 100% natural fine wool on a cotton foundation. One of a kind.
